IBPS PO / Clerk / RRB / SO photo & signature — exact size, ready to upload
IBPS forms need four files with hard pixel checks: photo 200 × 230, signature 140 × 60, left thumb 240 × 240 and the handwritten declaration at 800 × 400 — each in its own KB window. What the IBPS PO / Clerk / RRB / SO portal checks
- Photo: JPG 200 × 230 px, 20–50 KB, colour, 200 DPI, plain light background
- Signature: JPG 140 × 60 px, 10–20 KB, black ink, running hand — capital letters are rejected
- Left thumb impression: JPG 240 × 240 px, 20–50 KB, blue or black ink pad (some notices allow up to 100 KB)
- Handwritten declaration: JPG 800 × 400 px, 50–100 KB, English, your own handwriting, no capital letters, exact wording as shown in the tool
- All four are checked server-side; a wrong dimension gives a hard error and the form does not proceed
Sizes on this page follow the latest published guidance and exam-prep consensus; the portal's own notification for your cycle always wins — type its numbers into the tool if they differ.
How to do it
- Pick the tab for the file you need — the size and KB window are set for you.
- Select the image from your phone. For photos, a plain white wall behind you; for signatures, thumbs and declarations, white paper in daylight.
- Leave Clean on so the paper turns pure white and the ink stays dark.
- Press Make it. The badge turns green when the file is inside the window. Download, then use the "Next" links for the other files.
Questions
Can I type the declaration?
No — it must be handwritten by you. ExamPic only cleans and resizes your photo of it; it never generates handwriting.
The thumb print looks grey and smudged.
Press once, evenly, on white paper with a stamp pad; photograph in daylight without shadow. The clean option makes the paper white and the ridges dark.
SBI uses the same sizes?
Yes — SBI PO/Clerk use identical photo, signature, thumb and declaration specs.
