TNPSC photo & signature — exact size, ready to upload
TNPSC One-Time Registration wants the photo at 276 × 354 px (3.5 × 4.5 cm at 200 DPI) between 20 and 50 KB, and the signature at 276 × 118 px between 10 and 20 KB, with the files named Photograph.jpg and Signature.jpg. ExamPic names them that way.
What the TNPSC portal checks
- Photo JPG 276 × 354 px, 20–50 KB, file name Photograph.jpg
- Signature JPG 276 × 118 px, 10–20 KB, file name Signature.jpg, running hand
- Some notifications ask for name and date printed on the photo — turn on the strip if yours does
- 200 DPI is the reference; the portal checks pixels and KB
Sizes on this page follow the latest published guidance and exam-prep consensus; the portal's own notification for your cycle always wins — type its numbers into the tool if they differ.
How to do it
- Pick the tab for the file you need — the size and KB window are set for you.
- Select the image from your phone. For photos, a plain white wall behind you; for signatures, thumbs and declarations, white paper in daylight.
- Leave Clean on so the paper turns pure white and the ink stays dark.
- Press Make it. The badge turns green when the file is inside the window. Download, then use the "Next" links for the other files.
Questions
Does the file name matter?
TNPSC guidance says Photograph.jpg / Signature.jpg. ExamPic saves with exactly those names.
Name and date or not?
Only if your notification says so. The toggle is off by default for TNPSC.
