UPPSC OTR photo & signature — exact size, ready to upload

UPPSC's official OTR instruction asks for a 5 cm × 6 cm true-colour photo at 200 DPI under 50 KB and a 6 cm × 3 cm signature at 200 DPI under 30 KB. That is 394 × 472 px and 472 × 236 px — ExamPic sets both and writes the 200 DPI tag into the JPEG.

What the UPPSC OTR portal checks

Sizes on this page follow the official specification published by the conducting body.

How to do it

  1. Pick the tab for the file you need — the size and KB window are set for you.
  2. Select the image from your phone. For photos, a plain white wall behind you; for signatures, thumbs and declarations, white paper in daylight.
  3. Leave Clean on so the paper turns pure white and the ink stays dark.
  4. Press Make it. The badge turns green when the file is inside the window. Download, then use the "Next" links for the other files.

Questions

Does the DPI tag matter?

The portal mostly checks pixels and KB, but the instruction says 200 DPI, so ExamPic writes 200 DPI into the file to be safe.

UPSSSC PET uses the same?

No — PET wants 3.5 × 4.5 cm and often a Hindi signature. Use the RRB-style 3.5 × 4.5 preset and check the notice.
